"The Holy land Journey" DVD by Dr.Amit Kamle Launched in India
"The Holy Land Journey" – a spectacular DVD, which takes the viewer across an exclusive tour of the Holy lands of Palestine, Jordan, Israel and Egypt, was launched at a glittering ceremony in Miraj, Sangli, at the hands of popular Marathi actress, Kranti Redkar, in the presence of several eminent personalities, on 24th August 2013.
Dr. Amit Deepak Kamle, who is the main inspiration behind the DVD, having conceptualized and narrated it, played perfect host along with his wife, Pornima Kamle, to the elite gathered at the event.
Said Kranti Redkar, "I feel honoured and privileged to have been given an opportunity to release such a wonderful DVD. For me, it was an exciting journey, an unforgettable experience".
'The Holy Land Journey' is an interesting film, taking one through a journey from where Lord Jesus was born, until he was crucified, and then resurrected. This spectacular video brings the sights and sounds of the Holy Land alive in your home, taking the viewer onto an exciting journey back through time, retracing the important places and events from Genesis to Jesus and up to the present time.
In order to give the viewer an idea of the larger geography in which Jesus lived, Holy Land Journey also includes striking scenes of village and desert life, nature reserves and local wildlife, fascinating information about ancient and modern native peoples in the Holy Land, and many popular holy sites in modern Israel.
This is the 1st DVD which has been launched in India & has been made in 13 regional languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Assamese and even Urdu, with sub-titles in English. "Our aim was to reach out to maximum people as possible, and no one should be deprived of getting to see the places where Lord Jesus lived, just because of the language and financial barrier . The film traverses through 75 sites where Lord Jesus travelled, and includes all the places that are mentioned in the Bible", said Dr. Amit Kamle.
It is truly the first of its kind DVD made in India, which when viewed, transpires you literally into the Holy Land, bringing alive all those places where Jesus walked, lived, healed, preached & taught. Within a week after the DVD was released 1000 copies were sold , after which the 1111th Copy was launched at a glittering ceremony in Pune, at the hands of Tamil-Telugu-Malayalam- Marathi actress, Neha Pendse.
