'Walk on the footsteps of Jesus Christ'- a book penned by Mrs.Pornima & Dr. Amit Kamle'

'Walk on the footsteps of Jesus Christ' – an inspirational book, which takes the readers across an exclusive pilgrimage of the Holy lands of Israel, Jordan and Egypt, was launched in Pune, at the hands of film & TV actress, Jennifer Winget on 24th August 2015, at Hotel Deccan Rendezvous.

Also, present at the launch ceremony were special guests of honour Shri Chandu Borde and Rev.Andrew Rathod, Bishop of Pune Diocese.

Mrs. Pornima Kamle and Dr. Amit Deepak Kamle, Chairman & Director, A.K. International Tourism, have conceptualized and written the book, which took almost a year and a half to complete.

Says a beaming Pornima Kamle, "'Walk on the footsteps of Jesus Christ'is an interesting book, which brings the sights of the Holy Land alive, taking the reader onto an exciting journey back through time, retracing the important places and events from Genesis to Jesus Christ and up to the present time. The narrative is based on the Holy sites in Israel, Jordan & Egypt and its biblical references in the Holy Bible. It also covers the festivals, cuisine and history of the Holy land".

Said Jennifer Winget "Well Dr.Amit and Pornima are family. My parents have travelled with them to Israel, Jordan and Egypt in November 2013. When Dr. Amit Kamle invited me, I felt honoured and privileged to release such a wonderful book on the Holy Land, a book that can be read over and over again and which is so meaningful and so easy to understand. Even I would love to travel to Israel with them soon". She is known for her performance as Kumud in Saraswatichandra and has an upcoming film, 'Phir Se', releasing soon.

"Two years ago we had released a DVD titled, 'The Holy Land Journey', and we were overwhelmed with the stupendous response to the DVD and happy that in less than 1 month, we had reached the magical figure of 1111 DVDs being sold", smiles Dr.Amit Kamle. "The DVDs have reached around 21 states across India and have been well-appreciated. This motivated us to then write a book" He thanked the Ministries of Tourism of Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Palestine for their cooperation.

It is perhaps the first book of its kind released in India, which when read, transpires you literally into the Holy Land, bringing alive all those places where Jesus walked, lived, healed, preached & taught.
